Activity Name Parent-Child National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration Academic Year 2023-2024 Grades K1 Class, K2 Class and K3 Class Activity Objectives Gain recognition of the celebration activities of National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival Understand the customs and traditional food associated with the Mid-Autumn Festival Experience the festive atmosphere of celebrating National Day Activity Overview The School will organize a range of celebrations for children, including storytelling sessions, stall games, traditional snacks, Mid-Autumn Festival lantern parades, parent-child dough figurine making, and parent-child five-color paper lantern crafting. These activities aim to enhance children’s understanding of the customs and significance of traditional Chinese festivals, fostering their sense of national identity. Both teachers and children will wear traditional Chinese clothing, adding a distinctively Chinese atmosphere to the campus. Furthermore, the school will host a parent-child Mid-Autumn Festival lantern design competition, enabling parents and children to enjoy the festive ambiance at home as well.

This will immerse them in the festive atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
